Map Directions:
From Collingwood and Meaford, it is a half - hour drive, and from
Thornbury, it takes 20 minutes. Click
here for map. ( Please note that the map you will pull
up is a MSN map, and it will indicate Thornbury; this is to be used
for the "big" picture of the area...for the detailed map
to Holy Crow from there use the local map below.)
- From Thornbury: drive south out of town on
the Beaver Valley Road, also known as Grey Road #13. You can either
take the 10th line (Redwing )left off #13 where our new sign has
been placed, or continue down the road through Heathcote and then
turn left onto the town line and though Duncan.
- 10th Line Route: follow the 10th right to its
end; it winds around and does become a dirt road but well maintained;
at the "T" junction turn right, you will pass over a
small bridge (Mill Creek) and 1 kilometer further down the road
you will go up a hill to a 4-way stop. Turn left and Holy Crow
is there on your right.
- Duncan Route: south from Heathcote you will
come to a road with a sign to "Duncan" the town line
between the Blue Mountains and Grey Highlands, turn onto this
road, Continue south down the road and at the stop sign in Duncan
turn left and then right (around the yellow brick church). At
the 4-way stop go through and Holy Crow Beads is on your right.
- From Collingwood: take 6th Street to the Osler
Road and turn left. Turn right on to County Road 19. Drive over
the mountain and at the stop sign, continue through, even though
Grey Road 19 turns right at this point. Go up the hill and at
the stop sign, turn left. Follow the road as it winds its way
below Metcalfe Rock (this is a dirt road). At the "T"
junction turn right, go over the small bridge and after 1 kilometer,
you will go up a hill and to a 4-way stop. Turn left and Holy
Crow is on your right.
- From Kimberley: take Grey Road 13, also
known as the Beaver Valley Road, north until you reach County
Rd. 19. Turn right onto 19 and at the next intersection turn right.
You are now on the town line. Drive south on this road until you
reach the small community of Duncan. At the stop sign, turn left
and then right at the yellow brick church, now a private residence.
At the 4-way stop, continue through and Holy Crow Beads is right
there on your right.
